Sustainable Initiatives
Wanaka Seafood joins Open Climat
As part of our ongoing CSR commitments, we have joined Open Climat — a collaborative platform that makes companies' carbon footprints public and comparable.
This membership reflects our commitment to transparency: sharing the work accomplished over the years with our teams and partners, and progressing collectively toward more sustainable business models.
Open Climat provides us with a neutral and transparent framework, allowing everyone to measure our progress and strengthen trust with our clients.
We are committed to aligning our practices to reduce our carbon footprint. To achieve this, we have decided to measure our greenhouse gas emissions on an annual basis in order to monitor and identify our priority emission sources.
Results cover all 3 scopes and follow the GHG Protocol methodology.
Since 2026, we are also committed to the SBTi initiative and plan to submit our strategic decarbonisation targets for validation during 2027.

Our Actions
We have always been driven by innovation and a forward-looking approach to market developments. In 2010, we launched the Euroleaf project in Indonesia, prior to obtaining the IFS Broker certification, of which we were among the first beneficiaries.
In 2016, we initiated the Argentine Single Frozen project, ensuring optimal freshness through freezing directly at the source. Since that same year, we have also been working on analyzing and improving our packaging to reduce its environmental impact.
Responsible Partnerships
Our collaborations with international partners ensure rigorous product and social certifications.
In 2026, we are engaging a progress-based approach with our partners, across our entire value chain, to advance our environmental and social practices.
